Kyle Rittenhouse plans to sue host from The View

Kyle Rittenhouse, the Illinois teenager, cleared of all charges in the deadly shooting of two demonstrators in Kenosha, Wisconsin, appeared on Tucker Carlson Tonight on Monday. He announced plans to sue individuals and the media for spreading lies about him. In the summer of 2020, Rittenhouse traveled to Kenosha with an assault weapon and killed two protesters.

Rittenhouse and his legal team have started the Media Accountability Project to sue media and individuals for the lies they stated about him, according to Rittenhouse. He specifically cited Whoopi Goldberg of The View and Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks, although he was generally unclear about his potential targets. When it comes to Goldberg, Rittenhouse said that she called him a murderer after he was cleared of charges by a jury of his peers. Namely, ‘The Young Turks’ Cenk Uygur also labeled him a murdered and continued to call him like that, per report.

Rittenhouse has also been accused of being a white supremacist. Prosecutors claim he waved a white power sign at a club while on bail. Rittenhouse also stated that he intended to sue anyone who claimed he was a white supremacist. Rittenhouse stated that everyone who called him a murderer and a white supremacist would have to deal with the consequence in a courtroom. Rittenhouse faced the death penalty after being charged with the homicide of Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber during the protests in Wisconsin in 2020. Gaige Grosskreutz, 27, was injured during the incident. After a controversial trial, he was cleared of all charges.
