House GOP makes attempt to remove Kamala Harris as Biden’s Border Czar

A legislation to remove Vice President Kamala Harris from her role as “Border Czar,” was introduced by a Texas Republican, Rep. Ronny Jackson.
According to the resolution, the legislation would see Harris lose her position as the head of the Biden administration’s strategy to address the root causes of migration and force the federal government to recognize border security as national security.
Jackson said that “it is past time for Joe Biden to remove her from the Border Czar role and appoint someone who will put Americans’ interests first,” said report.
“A nation without borders is no nation at all. We need a real leader at the helm who will secure our southern border, and, in-turn, our country’s bright future,” Jackson added.
The release noted that at least 11,201 pounds of illicit fentanyl was seized at the border in 2021 by CBP officials, while more than 2.3 million immigrants have been apprehended at the border since Biden and Harris took office.
“Harris sits back and watches as illegal immigration skyrockets, countless people at home and abroad are victimized by drug and human trafficking, and CBP officers are left without resources or support from the Biden administration. Make no mistake – Harris’s approach is by design, and she must be stopped. A single canned photo op and pointless foreign trips to Northern Triangle countries on the taxpayers’ dime are not cutting it,” said Jackson.
The resolution was introduced on the one-year anniversary of Harris’s appointment and is backed by 26 GOP co-sponsors.
