Following a Twitter spat with tech billionaire Elon last month, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has decided to sell her Tesla.
In 2020, the socialist darling purchased a Model 3 Tesla, which today sells for $46,990. Musk, on the other hand, ridiculed her online and now she’s changing her mind.
“At the time, it was the only EV that could get me from New York to Washington on like one, or one-and-a-half charges,” AOC revealed to Bloomberg News this week. “I would love to switch.”
“He’s a billionaire. I could care less what he thinks,” Ocasio-Cortez remarked of Musk’s apparent GOP backing.
“Ocasio-Cortez bought her Model 3 to travel between Washington and her Bronx-Queens district after Covid-19 hit in 2020,” Bloomberg reported. “Now, the New York representative wants to ditch it for an electric vehicle made by unionized workers.”
Elon Musk mocked Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, far-left legislator, last month after she grumbled about millionaires on social media, as reported.
Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said this on Twitter: “Tired of having to collectively stress about what explosion of hate crimes is happening bc some billionaire with an ego problem unilaterally controls a massive communication platform and skews it because Tucker Carlson or Peter Thiel took him to dinner and made him feel special”
Elon Musk responded with a hilarious tweet, saying the following: “Stop hitting on me, I’m really shy.”
AOC later said she was talking about Mark Zuckerberg, not Elon Musk.
He said this because AOC once suggested people critical of her were just trying to date her, forgetting the fact that she’s constantly doing things to get herself justly criticized.
The post was in response to Ocasio-Cortez that her detractors are just interested in dating her.
“If Republicans are mad they can’t date me they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend’s feet,” last year, Ocasio-Cortez said of detractors. “Ya creepy weirdos.”
“It’s starting to get old ignoring the very obvious, strange, and deranged sexual frustrations that underpin the Republican fixation on me, women, & LGBT+ people in general,” she continued. “These people clearly need therapy, won’t do it, and use politics as their outlet instead. It’s really weird.”
After being seen eating at Miami Beach as COVID-19 cases soared in her area, Ocasio-Cortez went on a rant about Republicans and their “sexual frustrations” but was criticized as a hypocrite for where she was and what she was doing.
