CNN hires Jan 6 police officer as on-air contributor, likely to begin in January

Reports are now confirming that police officer Michael Fanone, who was working at the United States Capitol on January 6, and has since resigned, has now been hired by CNN as an on-air contributor and it appears he could begin next month.

Peter Hermann from Washington Post tweeted: “Michael Fanone, among the most severely injured fighting the Capitol mob on Jan. 6 and later one of the most outspoken against those playing down the riot, said he resigned from the D.C. police force today. He said he will be a contributor on CNN.

Not much further information is available at this time.

The following video is from his highly criticized testimony about the events that took place on January 6th, from his perspective.
