Survey finds only 27 congressional Republicans who acknowledge Biden victory

A recent poll has found that only 27 congressional Republicans have willingly acknowledged the Joe Biden victory over President Donald Trump in the 2020 election. The poll was conducted by the Washington Post who surveyed all of the 249 Republicans in the Senate and House.

This survey comes after President Donald Trump released a video accusing “corrupt forces” of stealing the election from him and claiming, incorrectly,  that he won the election. But, Trump did not win the election.

The Republicans who were surveyed had gotten either phone calls or emails that asked three questions. They were as follows, per MSN: “who won the presidential contest, do you support or oppose Trump’s continuing efforts to claim victory and if Biden wins a majority in the electoral college, will you accept him as the legitimately elected president.”

Several Republicans are supporting the “Trump did not lose” theory as Trump’s legal team makes legal efforts to fight the results of the election. However, many of their attempts are being thrown out and rejected.

President Trump’s legal team appears to have very limited time to prove their case.

Unless Trump’s legal team finds evidence to prove fraud or anything else, it appears that Joe Biden will have his electoral votes certified and be inaugurated on January 20, 2021.
