Sen. Kennedy disputes Biden, says Joe’s lie is so bad that not even George Santos would say it

President Joe Biden slammed the Republicans and said they’re working to increase prices on the middle class. Biden also suggested that Republicans want to put a huge dent in social security, Medicare, and Medicaid. That prompted Sen. John Kennedy to dispute on Biden’s claim and took it a step further saying “Not even George Santos would make up a whopper like that.”

Here’s a few of President Biden’s latest tweets. You can decide what to believe from the blubbering president and if his claims are true or not. Joe Biden said the following. Keep in mind these are Biden quotes directly from his Twitter page, not something we are stating:

House Republicans are pushing for a 30% national sales tax. Taxing the middle-class on thousands of everyday items from groceries to gas. And in the process – cutting taxes for the wealthiest. What in God’s name is that all about?

I’m building an economy for families that rely on their paychecks, not their stock portfolios, to put food on the table.

Today, I announced that the United States will send 31 Abrams tanks to Ukraine – evidence of our enduring and unflagging commitment to Ukraine and our confidence in the skill of Ukrainian forces. As I told President Zelenskyy, we’re with Ukraine for as long as it takes.

Today we learned that more folks than ever before signed up for health insurance through the Affordable Care Act. From Nov. 1 to Jan. 15, over 16.3 million Americans signed up – double the first ever ACA Open Enrollment. Our efforts are delivering record-breaking results.

Two years ago this week, 18 million people were out of work needing unemployment benefits. Today, that number is under 1.6 million – the lowest in decades.

Right now, there’s a senior deciding which bill they have to postpone because their insulin is $400 per month. No more. The Inflation Reduction Act caps insulin at $35 for seniors on Medicare – and I’m fighting like hell to get it done for every American.

A new report shows our $35 insulin cap would have saved over 1.5 million seniors an average of $500 per year on insulin had it been in effect in 2020. This cap delivers for working families by lowering health care costs and getting more money in seniors’ pockets.

To secure our energy supply and blunt rising costs caused by Putin’s war, my Administration made releases from our petroleum reserve. House Republicans want to weaken that critical energy security option, causing oil shortages and higher gas prices in times of crisis.

No parent should have to park in front of a fast food restaurant in order to access Wi-Fi for their child’s homework. Our Administration is delivering affordable high-speed Internet to every single household in America.

Gas prices are down around $1.60 a gallon from their peak this summer – and my Administration will keep working to lower costs for American families.

Last quarter, our economy grew at a 2.9% annual pace – solid growth, even as we continue to bring inflation down. Our economic plan worked. And it still is.

My agenda is currently lowering prescription drug, health care, and energy costs for families. And we’re doing it without raising taxes on folks earning less than $400,000 a year.
