DNC tried to swindle Americans for $15k for Kamala Harris photo, forced to reschedule event and drop prices

The Women’s Leadership Forum fundraiser on May 25 and 26 with Vice President Kamala Harris, reportedly had to be rescheduled by the Democrat National Committee (DNC), for lack of ticket sales and faced backlash for high prices on photo-ops with the VP, Kamala Harris. “The event was rescheduled last minute for the autumn when the event is traditionally held after the event couldn’t sell enough tickets. When the invites were sent out on May 5, it was hyped as an incredible opportunity to mingle in person after two years of virtual events and meetings,” the report said, but turned out to be an incredible dud as it was rescheduled with prices dropped.

According to the report, ticket prices range from $250 to $50,000, with an attempt to swindle people for up to $15,000 just to be in a photograph with low-approval rated VP Kamala Harris. The prices were later dropped to around $5,000 according to reports, but critics suggest it’s worth maybe $5 on a good day. Others on social media suggested that Kamala Harris would have to pay THEM to be in a photo with her.
Daniel Wessel, who is a DNC spokesperson, is on record claiming Kamala Harris is a huge draw for events but did not give a reason why the event was rescheduled.
The polling numbers for Harris are abysmal. Her polling numbers are even worse than President Joe Biden’s. Only 28 percent approve of Harris, while 62 percent disapprove. While at the same time, Biden’s approval rating is 33 percent with 56 percent disapproving.
Harris failed to secure the southern border, which was a responsibility given to her by Biden in March of 2021, so perhaps that is the reason why her polling numbers are so terrible.
While also, Harris has made numerous gaffes in the press. One of her communication gaffes included the time NBC News questioned her in June about why she had not visited the border, as doing so may give her insight into how to stop the invasion. Harris answered by saying she had not yet visited Europe.
Lester Holt asked her: “You haven’t been to the border?”
“And I haven’t been to Europe,” Harris said laughing. “And I mean, I don’t understand the point that you’re making. I’m not discounting the importance of the border.”
And this was not the only time she made a gaffe. The vice president rambled about the “significance of the passage of time” in March, during a speech in Sunset, Louisiana. Within just 32 seconds, she managed to mention the “significance of the passage of time” four times.
NY Post added: “The Democratic National Committee has reportedly cut prices for fundraising photo ops with Vice President Kamala Harris — from a whopping $15,000 to $5,000.
The cost of taking a photo with Harris at last month’s DNC’s Women’s Leadership Forum was slated to start at $15,000 before it was eventually postponed due to an apparent lack of ticket sales, Puck reported Tuesday.
Now, the DNC is said to have dropped the price per photo by 60% for the veep’s California fundraiser later this month.
