Democrat Gov. ‘hopeful’ that Kamala Harris becomes next United States President

Governor Gavin Newsom of California stated on Thursday that he supports Vice President Kamala Harris to replace President Joe Biden.
He explained that in their common state of California, Harris is a political ally, and he has no plans to change that anytime soon. When he faced a recall election in 2021, the vice president even fought on his behalf.
To the San Francisco Chronicle, Newsom restated his disinterest in running for president in 2024.
“Yeah, I mean, I have sub-zero interest,” the Democrat admitted. “It’s not even on my radar.”
In 2021, shortly after surviving a recall attempt against him, he reiterated the same attitude. When asked if he had any presidential ambitions, Newsom responded “none,” adding that it had never crossed his mind, said a report.
Some, though, believe he is not telling the truth. According to journalist Jonathan Martin, Newsom is “so read up on Ron DeSantis and what’s happening in Florida,” he says, adding that “he can smell that matchup a mile away. He knows what’s happening on Fox News, and he can speak at great length about what the California story is versus the Florida story..”
Martin tweeted, “What California governor would ever think of the White House?” referring to past President Ronald Reagan, who governed the state from 1967 to 1975 before running for president and is popular to this day.
