President Donald Trump is putting up a fight after losing the 2020 election to Democrat Joe Biden, however the incumbent is now acknowledging that his challenges probably won’t ever make it to the Supreme Court.

Trump stated this in an interview with Maria Bartiromo when he said “well, the problem is, it’s hard to get into the Supreme Court… I’ve got the best Supreme Court advocates, lawyers, that want to argue the case, if it gets there. They said, ‘It’s very hard to get a case up there…’ Can you imagine, Donald Trump, president of the United States, files a case, and I probably can’t get a case.”

The president tries to remain hopeful that one of his legal challenges is heard, but also seems to accept that it simply might not get to the Supreme Court at all.

Bartiromo asked the following, “it sounds like if you can’t be heard by the Supreme Court, you lose. Do you believe you will win this?”

Trump said in response, “we should be heard by the Supreme Court. Something has to be able to get up there, otherwise, what is the Supreme Court?”

The president believes there is still a path to victory and has not conceded, despite Biden being projected to win more than the 270 electoral votes that are required to win the election, officially.

Trump has now stated that if the electoral college casts ballots for Democrat Joe Biden, and Biden wins, that Trump will indeed leave the White House. However, the president may still continue his legal challenges if he so desires.
