BREAKING: Secret Service Foils ‘Electronic Plot’ Targeting Top Officials

Hours before United Nations representatives from around the world were set to gather in New York, the U.S. Secret Service announced it had neutralized an electronic threat aimed at stealing some of the global intelligence that would be shared among diplomats.

Several “telecommunications” devices were intercepted within 35 miles of the U.N. General Assembly, according to the agency.
