CNN’s Wolf Blitzer talks to Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and asks about why she did not accept the stimulus offer presented by President Donald Trump. It was an offer worth close to $1.8 trillion, and many representatives on both sides of the aisle wanted to accept it.

Except, Pelosi did not think it was good enough or she had some other reasons of her own. In this interview, she seems to lose it when Wolf Blitzer presses on it and she basically tells him that “you don’t know what you’re talking about.”

This video dates back to October 13, but it helps paint a picture of how we got to today’s position of having nothing passed and no relief for Americans, unless they pass it right after we post this story, of course.

Things in the video got so heated that Pelosi referred to Blitzer as an “apologist” for Republicans. Here she is unloading on the CNN host:

“With all due respect, and you know we’ve known each other a long time, you really don’t know what you’re talking about,” Pelosi said. “I don’t know why you’re always an apologist, and many of your colleagues, apologists for the Republican position.”

During the interview, Blitzer pressed her on why House Democrats have rejected the Trump administration’s latest $1.8 trillion stimulus bill offer as many Americans have continued to struggle financially during the pandemic. “Can you look them in the eye, Madame Speaker, and explain why you don’t want to accept the president’s latest stimulus offer?” Blitzer asked earlier in the interview.
