Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had a lot to say over the weekend as they discussed the relief bill and how to scrape up $600 for Americans while sending millions to other countries.

One of her more notable quotes was when she said “I plan to pull him out of there by his hair, his little hands and his feet.” Who is she talking about? Well, that’s President Donald Trump, of course.

Pelosi tried to shame Trump as he pulled away from the relief bill talks and had someone else represent his views. According to Politico, Trump spoke with Sen. Josh Hawley and had Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin represent his views.

Meanwhile, Trump spent a lot of time on Twitter and spoke about the results of the 2020 election while others discussed the relief bill that many, many Americans are disgusted by – one that is over 5,000 pages and not everyone is thrilled with the $600 checks, that’s for sure.

At some point over the weekend, that’s when Pelosi went on her rant about Trump and lashed out with a rather catty attack on the president.

“I’m counting down the hours ‘til he’s gone,” Pelosi told her leadership team as they strategized this weekend. “I plan to pull him out of there by his hair, his little hands and his feet.”

The relationship between the four congressional leaders isn’t much better. Even after they announced a deal, bitter recriminations have continued to fly from both ends of the Capitol. That does not bode well for bold, bipartisan deals next Congress, especially with razor-thin majorities and lingering mistrust among leaders.

This is what our politicians think of each other and judging by how much money the relief bill is sending to Pakistan, I can now see what the government thinks of us.

I know a lot of you are unhappy with the bill, and I am too.
