Looks like Democrat Joe Biden sure had a lot to say about the “defund the police” movement and I’m not sure all the far left Democrats are going to like it.

Biden told some civil rights leaders to proceed with caution on the criminal justice issues that America faces. One of those issues pertains to the calls for defunding the police and bringing more mental health experts into the picture, to provide a much needed assistance to situations where people are literally losing their minds.

Biden’s comments were revealed when leaked audio came to the surface and put on a podcast by The Intercept.

Biden said,  “that’s how they beat the living hell out of us across the country, saying that we’re talking about defunding the police. We’re not. We’re talking about holding them accountable.” Biden also suggested that “we can go very far. It matters how we do it. I think it matters how we do it.”

The president-elect wants to focus on police reform and making sure that changes and improvements are made as needed.

Defunding the police is not the same as eliminating the police, but it might cause issues down the line when it comes to funding in general.

As long as they don’t defund the police who are assigned to investigate Hunter Biden, then Republicans will probably be OK with whatever changes take place because, you know, corruption and all is at the top of their list of things to do. They’re not really worried about the guy down the street whose entire life fell apart in a pandemic and falls to pieces.

Getting to the root of a problem is always much better than taking it out on the surface, but that doesn’t always resonate with some people.

Here’s the video with Joe Biden’s leaked audio for those still wondering what else he said, or if he pulls his dog’s tail getting out of the shower again.

Here's some stupid ads. I don't care if you click on them or not. They're probably bullsh-t anyway.

“Where I have executive authority, I will use it to undo every single damn thing this guy’s done by executive authority,” Biden said, according to the audio. “But I’m not going to exercise executive authority where it’s a question where I can come along and say I can do away with assault weapons. There’s no executive authority to do that. And no one has fought harder to get rid of assault weapons than me, me. You can’t do it by executive order.” (NBC News)
