CNN’s Don Lemon made an announcement that it would be his last episode of “CNN Tonight with Don Lemon” and the Internet was on fire.

Watch the video of Don Lemon’s announcement:

As it turns out, Don Lemon is NOT leaving CNN.

Don Lemon is still doing his show, but they changed the name from “CNN Tonight with Don Lemon” to “Don Lemon Tonight” – so it’s basically the same thing, they just switched the words around.

It was like Don Lemon did that announcement on purpose to create some buzz, but now he just looks bad for being somewhat misleading on purpose.

Don Lemon could have said in his first announcement something like this, “Great news folks, we’re going to have a new show and here’s the name.”

Instead, Don Lemon purposely misleads people to think other things instead of just telling them the truth up front.

Here's some stupid ads. I don't care if you click on them or not. They're probably bullsh-t anyway.

If there was ever a reason to not trust the mainstream media, then it’s reasons like this.

And to top it off, it’s important to know that shows like this are not to be considered the news. These shows are filled with bias and opinion and entertainment factors. These types of talk shows feed into the narrative that the audience wants to hear. This is how they get people to keep watching – by telling everyone what they want to hear and feeding into their side of the political narrative.

The stations and shows that simply tell what’s going on don’t have any entertainment factor or personality. Mainstream media figured this out a long, long time ago.

There’s no problem with this, but it’s important for people to realize the difference between a narrative-based talk show and the real news.
