Leave it to CNN’s Don Lemon to lecture someone about being a team player. Lemonhead is punching down at NBA all-star guard Kyrie Erving, of the Brooklyn Nets, because he doesn’t want to face the mandates and get that shot stuck in his arm.
Brooklyn Nets told Irving he’s banned from the team until he’s vaccinated. Irving doesn’t seem to be interested in getting the shot, so technically, this is the one shot he’s not taking. Ba-Dum-Tssssssss that was a basketball joke and I’ll be here all week for my comedy special folks!! As long as the Sixers beat the Nets, I couldn’t care less what any of their players do.
I don’t care if you’re for it or against it, but the debate that’s hotter than an Instagram girl devouring a McRib is this – should the shot be mandated and forced upon people? Or should people have options? Should a business or school require people to get it? We already have plenty of requirements just to get into grade school and it’s a big reason why we don’t see those ugly kids running around with chicken pox anymore. Thank goodness, because that was disgusting. Kids be looking like they just French kissed poison ivy in grandma’s back yard and get those nasty sores all over themselves. Trust me, it sucked – I had it!!! I also had COVID and that sucked even worse and I still get out of breath for no reason some days. And it’s not because I’m big-boned either.

WOMP WOMP SHUT UP DON LEMON! I DON’T CARE WHAT YOU THINK!!!
The fact is this – these things can work, but we all gotta be on the same page, and we don’t want to be FORCED to do it. We want to make our own educated guesses and decisions.
You know how when your parents would tell you not to do something, and the first thing you did – was do that something? This is like the reverse. When your parents said to do something because it was good for you and you rebelled, like no thanks, not doing it. That’s what we’re dealing with in society right now.
You want to know how to decide on this? Call your doctor and talk to them. Turn off the TV. Stop watching the news. Call your actual doctor, like a real medical professional. Talk to them and decide after that.
And no, don’t call Jill Biden. Someone who took a few extra credits after a masters degree, who doesn’t work in the medical/science field, shouldn’t be called a doctor anymore. It’s like an insult to someone who does brain surgery or physics.
