Former governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie, suggests that it’s possible he runs for president against Donald Trump, if Trump decides to run in 2024.

Christie, the controversial Republican best known for his BridgeGate scandal, and failed presidential candidate in 2016, was talking on “The Hugh Hewitt Show” when the topic of running for president in 2024 came up.

Hewitt asked Christie “if President Trump decides to run in 2024, are you ruling out running against him?” Christie gave a four word answer to start, saying “I would not. No.” Christie also stated “I would not rule it out” when asked if he would not rule it out, or if he would simply not run for president against Trump. Christie suggested he WOULD run against Trump, as reported on IJR.

Last time Christie tried that, he failed.

Christie responded, “I would not. No.” Asked a follow-up on if he would not rule it out or not run, the former New Jersey governor confirmed, “I would not rule it out.”

The former governor of New Jersey always seemed a little weary of President Donald Trump and at times, it even seemed like he was jealous or resentful towards the president. Christie never really secured a position in Trump’s administration and that might still be hurting his feelings.

Christie also challenged Trump on the efforts his legal team is presenting to challenge the results of the election. Christie stated that “the legal theory put forward by his legal team and by the president is an absurdity and the reason why the Supreme Court didn’t take it is because it’s an absurd idea to think that any state, or any number of states, no matter how good they are, can challenge another state’s right to run the election as they see fit and also there’s no evidence.”

Just a few days ago Christie was shaming President Trump and saying he should concede to Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 election.

Chris Christie has four years to decide if he wants to fail at another bid for president.

Here's some stupid ads. I don't care if you click on them or not. They're probably bullsh-t anyway.

So long as Chris Christie stays out of a Yankees uniform, then we are all a little bit safer. If you never saw him in that uniform, then look it up on Google and try not to vomit. It’s that bad and I could not imagine this guy as president in anything, not even a student council.

Drop your comments below if you feel the same or you’re a strange person and think Chris Christie would be a good president four years from now.
