Low and behold, Bernie Sanders just came out with a whopper of a statement that a lot of people will support, just not from the luxury of three vacation homes or an expensive refrigerator full of fancy ice cream.

The Democratic socialist suggested that Democrats and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi literally walked away from a relief bill and he had no problem saying it out loud and calling them out for it. Sanders was chatting with CNN’s Jake Tapper and that’s when he spilled the beans on the proposal and accused them of walking away from it.

Quotes provided by The Blaze:

“Well, you talked about that $1.8 trillion bill that the White House, Steve Mnuchin, the Treasury Secretary, was working on with the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) um, the Democrats walked away from that bill,” Tapper said.

“Thats right!” interrupted Sanders.

“…because they wanted $2.2 trillion and they walked away from $1.8 trillion. Was that a mistake?” Tapper asked.

“That’s what I’m saying! That’s exactly what I’m saying!” exclaimed Sanders.

“Here was a proposal much much larger, Democrats are, ‘no that’s not good enough,’ and now we’re prepared to accept a proposal that has I think $350 billion dollars in new money?” Sanders continued.

“I don’t think this is much of a compromise, I think the Republicans have probably gotten 90% of what they want. Our job is to fight and get at least a 50-50 deal,” Sanders said in the interview. “We gotta do a lot better and negotiate a lot harder.”

Watch the video:

A 50/50 bill would make sense, but of course we will struggle to get that with the current political climate being an absolute partisan disaster.

It seems like this relief bill and all the proposals coming out seem to include so many different things while people are sitting at home on unemployment during a lock down and struggling to meet their bills.

Some people who were always responsible are finding themselves struggling because they might not be allowed to go to work.

Sure, most places are open right now, but the people in the restaurant industry are probably taking  a big hit right now.

Here's some stupid ads. I don't care if you click on them or not. They're probably bullsh-t anyway.

In some cities, they were opening back up and things were looking like normal again.

That came to an abrupt halt because now the numbers are spiking again.

You know, if there’s a rally or a protest or you’re thinking about going to the airport on a holiday – it would be wise to skip that.

No rally or protest is important and no one listens to anyone at a rally or protest anyway. Literally no one cares.

If you’re thinking about flying around on an airplane, then go when it’s not crowded. There’s no reason you have to travel on a holiday when there are 52 weeks in a year and you can visit people any day of the week.

Keep these things in mind this holiday.

Visit your family and friends when it’s not busy, so the crowds are less and the chances of things spreading are likely a lot lower.

Meanwhile, the politicians will keep adding their pork to relief bills and maybe if they pass one, you can afford to buy some good bacon for yourself too!
