Former President Donald Trump's impeachment defense attorney, David Schoen, says he wants to expose the Democrat "hypocrisy" of the House impeachment managers.

Democrats are trying to prove that Trump is guilty of inciting violence upon the Capitol by showing videos and making their arguments.

However, Schoen thinks the Democrats are just giving people "an entertainment package" according to NY Post. Schoen spoke with someone from Fox News:
“I think you’ll at least be moved by what you see and get a much better picture of what’s going on,” Schoen said of their arguments, which begin Friday, adding he would expose the “hypocrisy” of the impeachment managers.

“Everyone in that room and the House will look bad,” he went on. “Our politicians will look bad if this thing goes forward and that’s a very unfortunate thing.”

Republicans have also accused Democrats of selectively quoting or editing video to prove their case, at times allegedly leaving out parts of the narrative. The NY Post article mentioned a tweet by House Judiciary GOP:

“President Trump told protestors to ‘peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard,’” the Republican House Judiciary Committee tweeted.

“You left that part out. Wonder why?”
