Mitt Romney was discussing the potential of former President Donald Trump running for president again in 2024. Romney predicts that if Trump does enter the 2024 election race, that he wins the nomination for the Republican Party "in a landslide."

WATCH Romney make his Trump 2024 prediction:

As stated in the DealBook piece:
“Will President Trump continue to play a role in my party? I’m sure he will,” Mr. Romney said. “I don’t know if he’ll run in 2024 or not, but if he does, I’m pretty sure he will win the nomination.” He conceded that “a lot can happen between now and 2024,” but according to the poll he’s seen, “if you put President Trump in there among Republicans, he wins in a landslide.” How would the senator vote in the general election, in that case? “I would not be voting for President Trump again. I haven’t voted for him in the past. I would be getting behind somebody in the tiny wing of the Republican Party that I represent.”

As of now, it seems like Mitt Romney believes Trump would easily in the nomination in comparison to whom else might be considered. It does not seem like Romney would enter the 2024 election.

And that's a good thing. I don't believe, in my opinion, that Romney would get enough attention from the Republican Party to be nominated on their side.

Not even close, because a lot of Republicans look at Romney like he's a RINO.
