Sen. Mitch McConnell condemns former President Donald Trump and blames him for what took place at the Capitol on January 6th when rioters breached the premises and the day's events caused several people to lose their lives.

McConnell voted not guilty, but had no problem publicly shaming Trump and blaming him for the that day's horrific incidents. McConnell specifically says, "there’s no question – none – that President Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day."

McConnell had indicated to his GOP colleagues that he was certain to vote in favor of Trump, but they may not have expected McConnell's outburst against the former president.

Despite his vote in favor of Trump, McConnell has become one of the most disliked Republicans since Mitt Romney became a Republican in name only to the constituents.

McConnell is constantly slammed by people on both sides of the political aisle on social media.
